The words continued to echo in the figure’s head, although it was unknown if they were understood or not.

“Adjustment of rebirth protocols are complete.”

“Priority will be to restore physical body and mental capacity to nominal levels.”

“Rebirth protocols for some functions are limited due to temple-specific specialties. ”

“Aura and soul deficiencies will have limited improvement.”

A large green glow came from the obelisk ahead and a stream of green fog with some white streaks mixed in approached the figure. The streams split apart into many sub-streams like branches of a tree and started plowing into the figure’s body. The white streams went into the body between the eyes, while the green streams were entering the body at various acupoints. The figure was shaking slightly and showed a look of discomfort, clenching his free hand and grimacing with his eyes closed.

The process continued for hours.

The voice kept on droning on in the figure’s mind from time to time.

“Due to degradation of core pattern, the first pattern has been designated as primary psyche.”

“Incomplete second pattern will be designated as secondary psyche. Ego within secondary psyche will be disabled. Secondary psyche remnant will be integrated to dominant psyche as extended experience and knowledge.”

More time passed. While the body was receiving green and white “energy” streams, the fog outside the temple was growing thinner, and the sea of green fog was growing dimmer

“Rebuild of physical state has been completed.”

“Rebuild of mental functions have reached nominal levels.”

“WARNING! The thresholds for current rebirth are not at optimum levels. Any additional remediations are beyond the capability of the Palace of Creation.”

At this point the light streams faded away and the green glow around the hand on the imprint also dimmed. When that occurred, the figure was released from the alter and fell backward. A very loud scream was heard.
