Time passed and not much changed. The cylinder was starting to dim, and a shadowy figure could be seen inside, mostly motionless, but with sharp vision you can make out some shaking from the figure. At the point where the cylinder lost it last gloss of light, a change occurred. The sound of something sizzling could be heard, like something frying, but more like pops of static electricity. Soon the cylinder, from the top down, started dissolving, or more like melting. It looked like how dry ice sublimes into a fog, and that is exactly what it was doing, with a breath of green fog falling off from the cylinder.
After a period of time, the cylinder started losing its integrity, like a candle with thin walls being melted from the flame inside. At some point the top had completely “melted”, and parts of the side fell off but disappeared before they could fall to the base. A figure was revealed, though it was more like a green cocoon. It was larger than person, about 7-8 ft., but otherwise, about the same proportions as person. Some movement could be seen, like the cocoon was breathing, expanded and contracting. When the last part of the cylinder disappeared, the cocoon fell sideways, in the direction of the rocky shore. A short flash of green light occurred near the “feet” of the cocoon and it shot like skipping rock over the gas fog and fell on the rocks. A small “Ugh!” sound could be heard from the cocoon.
After a few moments, the cocoon started to disintegrate, different from the cylinder as it looked like it dried up and turned to powder, leaving a coating on the rocks. What was revealed was a somewhat human figure laying down in a fetal position, naked, and probably male, though more definitive to say not female. The figure was about 7 ft tall and had green skin, with indications of very fine scales like on a lizard if you looked closely. It had long silver hair that was current wrapped to the side, which contrasted with everything else around it because it was the only non-green thing around, although with all the green illumination it appeared slightly green as well. Also of note were the tall, pointed ears on the figure, and what looked like a dim green ring circling above the head. It could be called a halo since it had the right dimensions as shown in popular culture if it wasn’t for fact it was green and also positioned more to the back of the head. And looking to the face of the figure, you would see a very young face, though hard to tell if it was a young man or woman from the face alone. This creature really had the look of a legendary elf, with some obvious differences, or at least, additional attributes.
Shortly after the cocoon dissolved, there was movement. The figure had open his eyes for the first time.
